"The members of Le Petomane are among the region's most courageous and daring . . . the lunacy quotient is high, but it's also one of the troupe's most compelling factors."
-LEO Weekly

"The skill and energy of the ensemble is impressive,  but it is the cohesiveness on display that is astonishing."
-TheatreLouisville.org

"Every big city has a few hidden treasures.  Le Petomane Theatre Ensemble is one of ours."
-Velocity

#5 - Top Ten list, 2007 "Year in Stage"

- LEO Weekly

"Fine, fast and funny...ensemble comedy of the first order."
- Courier-Journal

"It is a remarkable process . . . like a group of precocious, oversized children, making up an intricate game in the spirit of shared intensity and playfulness."
-Pitch magazine

"They move through the performance space less as individual actors and more in the manner of a finely-tuned engine."
-TheatreLouisville.org

"Le Petomane has superb timing and just the right amount of silliness.  They are true masters of their art."

A Special Note:
The Rudyard Kipling, Louisville's finest small performance venue and Le Petomane's heart's home, is always in need of your company.  Stop in (422 W. Oak St., Fri.-Sat. evenings plus special events), have a drink, have a homemade vegan pizza, and enjoy whatever jazz/ bluegrass/ experimental kookoo stuff/ theater/ dance/ film is in the house that evening.  Keeping Louisville Weird means keeping REAL Louisville alive and kicking.

The Late Seating at Actors presents
Derby's Over Party
May 16, 10:30 pm

Wind down after the Derby with The Late Seating-
featuring Le Petomane Theatre Ensemble's latest original, Gonzopolis, and an Iron Bartender competition.

GONZOPOLIS...A frenzied dystopia where prices are high, traffic is miserable and the mad roam the streets on four-poster beds: the stuff of fiction, of course, and in no way meant to resemble any local spring festival. Join The Late Seating at Actors for an original comic evening of song, dance and neo-vaudevillian hullabaloo celebrating the city, its people and their will to survive one more Derby. Assuming we do survive…
