The Le Petomane Double Feature - December 2007.  A Very Special Holiday Special was the easiest answer to the question, "Why is it y'all haven't done a holiday show?"  Plus, another episode of Gladys..., winner of the coveted audience favorite award from:

Le Petomane's Next Show - September 2007,  after which we swore off complicated titles.  Five short pieces, one of which became Le Petomane's Next Show.

Public Espionage! - June 2007 at the Cincinnati Fringe again, this time in conjunction with Performance Gallery's girlfight.  Sing it with us: "S is for sneaky..."

Don Juan - March 2007 Six actors, nineteen masks, and a woman in the title role.  Our most acclaimed production yet!
"timeless and hilarious...fine,fast and funny... ensemble comedy of the first order..." -Courier-Journal
" a brilliant work of art...It's easy to see why all the ladies loved Don Juan." -LEO Weekly
"totally rockin'...skilled physicality and terrific vocal work..." -TheatreLouisville.org

Ka-Blam!
- is gone, but never fear: the Captain, Kris, Carol, Psycheout and The Fearmonger are destined to return in Ka-Blam!: The Drinking Game!

Ban: An Appeal
- A little bit Orwell, a little bit Harold Lloyd, this physical comedy tango noir  about a nation without bananas premiered in March 2006.  At the Rud, of course.

Our first Clowns Without Borders Benefit was March 2006 including folks from Squallis, Fashoo the Fool, Tracey Zavadil and internationally touring performer Jamie Maclaren Lachman, raised money for a remarkable humanitarian organization www.ClownsWithoutBorders.org

Spot of Cheese or The Unexpected Sally
Another odd little piece from Big Guy and Bagatella, this time exploring the history of world literature and flamenco and, of course, cheese.  Premiered January 2006 at the Rud.

". . . madcap charm . . . incredibly agile actors . . . the ensemble is terrific." - The Courier-Journal
Yep - that was our singular adaptation of William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream for six actors, sixteen masks and four puppets.  Way back in October 2005, again in May 2006, at the Cincinnati Fringe Festival in June 2006, and again in April 2008.
.

Siddown, an original two-clown piece, replete with operetta, go-go dancing, and the learning of an important lesson (we don't know what yet),  had its premiere run at the Rudyard Kipling in November 2004.  Due to popular demand (of a sort) we've brought it back before and have every intent of bringing it back again.

February 2005's
Souvenir was our little wildly inaccurate tribute to the history of the Rud.  To be remembered as "the one with the water ballet."
"A kitschy mélange of song, dance and pantomime served up nice and fresh" - LEO Weekly
"[R]einvents vaudeville" - Courier-Journal
"[H]ow can we not endorse something with monkeys?" - Velocity
Past Productions
* a word or two about the sliding scale: it is important to us that our work is available to as many people as possible.  (We cannot afford to see as many performances as we would like either.)  To that end, we offer the Sliding Scale.  You pay what you a) think fair and b) can afford and we make a reasonable amount either way.  The low end is no higher than the price of a movie ticket; the high end is, to be honest, really not an issue as we will accept any amount above $20 you care to give - it just seemed like a nice round number.  If the show was better than you expected, feel free to toss us some extra spondulix afterwards. Our expenses are greater than our shame.  But we digress...
